Air Mass Isn’t Cold Enough For Frost Yet, Possibly Next Week

A late frost is especially important in 2019. That's after many farmers planted late. 

“The long-range computer models have kept trying to bring cold air to the Plains and it hasn’t really happened yet,” said Mike Hoffman.

“Maybe we’ll push it back but there is that risk [the farther North] you live coming up.”

Hoffman explains how the air mass isn’t cold enough just yet but farmers need to watch future masses.
