ALERT Jan. 22, 2014 -- Propane

January 22, 2014 05:58 AM

Reports are surfacing today from several locations that propane prices are set to rise by nearly another dollar in the very short term. Some locations have already adopted a much higher price. Delivery trucks are doing the best they can to keep up, but many who order LP are forced to wait before the trucks can get to them.

If you have enough propane to make it thourough winter without topping off, do not book propane at current levels. However, if you are going to need to refill before spring, some locales still offer prices below $3.00/gallon. Capture that price and fill what you need to get by.

We expect the current price structure to hold LP high and with deliveries already stretched thin and bitterly cold weather taking hold, now is the time to get your name on the list at your local propane distributor for a delivery.

Prices may vary so, as always, check with your preferred supplier.
