Allendale VP: Climbing Soybean Market with Big Numbers "Confusing"

December 13, 2016 10:01 AM

To Steve Georgy, vice president of Allendale, Inc., the soybean market is fairly confusing.

Soybean numbers are big, yet the market continues to climb, new crop beans are rallying, soybean acres will increase 3 million acres according to Allendale, and there’s a lot of premium in the market because of dry weather in South America.

With all of these factors, Georgy told Market Rally host Chip Flory he is still long on soybeans.

Listen to Georgy discuss why producers are waiting until spring to make crop decisions and why strong soybean sales will continue on Market Rally above.
