Analyst: Bull Market "Being Born" After Experiencing Market Lows

January 12, 2017 08:46 AM

Looking at commodity markets long-term, Mike Florez of Florez Trading believes they are at “major lows.”

Florez told AgDay host Clinton Griffiths things will “break out to the upside” and a bull market is “being born.”

“It’ll last somewhere between 18 months to 2 years,” said Florez.

Time will tell. Don't see much happening until we get managed money out of the picture more. Wheat will be interesting in 2017. Just depends upon spring plantings as to whether there will be any respite in that market. Might be time to finish selling old crop and buy some deferred call options to own back on paper what I've sold. Hmmm, I can forecast the same way as those that get paid to do it!

I hope u r right however I don't see much happening until after planting intention set the ground work first. Index buying so far as done nothing but hold market steady. Until the U.S. farmer has depleted his inventory, then one can get excited. Stocks report yesterday show on farm stocks some 782 million more than last year on Dec 1. until all of those & then some - I'm not looking for much change for awhile.
