March 13, 2017 01:12 PM

With all of the chatter out of Washington, farm groups are nervous about rising tensions between some of our biggest buyers.

Andy Shissler of S&W Trading has a friend working within the Chinese government, and he asked him if there could be a trade war with China.

A friend in China really? I got an uncle in Iowa. So? Are these peeps think we are that naive to believe this garbage. I am sure Andy has a friend in China. But what I doubt he is that knowing of what the Chinese government is thinking or planning on. China has always kept all information close to the breast... Talk about your "Fact Checking" ?

The manufacturing sector will benefit from a trade war with china , but as far as agriculture it will be a replay of the carter grain embargo of the 70's . Low prices lasted to 2007.
