Avoid Corn Disasters with Data, Analysis

When managing your corn in-season, one practice is critical, says Farm Journal field agronomist Ken Ferrie in Episode 8 of Corn College TV Season 3.

"Everything has to be recorded and dated," Ferrie says. That includes yield maps and aerial imagery.

But it’s not enough to just keep track of numbers. Post-season analysis is critical to avoiding disasters during the next season, as Ferrie demonstrates with several fields that experienced varying levels of Goss’s wilt from year to year.
