At the CHS Ag Services annual meeting and ag industry day, Tyne Morgan hosted a group of panelists in Grand Forks, North Dakota. While the group discussed the current market situation, they had their final thoughts to drive home to the audience.
Mike North, Commodity Risk Management Group
- “We have plenty of inventory. We need to be taking advantage of price opportunities as they come. Be ready for a volatile summer.”
Joe Vaclavik, Standard Grain
- “We discussed some prices in the corn market that really start to make things work for every corn farm in the country. In decision, it can be a grain marketer’s worst enemy.”
Andy Shissler, S&W Trading
- “We’re seeing more money in the market than I’ve ever seen before. U.S. prices are higher than we think for you to contract and take care of your operation.”
