Board of Trade: Grain Higher, Livestock Mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 4 cents higher at $4.0720 a bushel; December corn was 1.50 cents higher at $3.3840 bushel; December oats was .25 cent lower at $1.7540 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 10.50 cents to $9.7640 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was .40 cent lower at $1.0748 a pound; September feeder cattle was .50 cent lower at $1.35 pound; October lean hogs gained .48 cent to $.5595 a pound.
