BouMatic Launches Brilliance, a One-Step CIP Acid Detergent

June 14, 2011 03:03 AM

MADISON, Wis. –- BouMatic, a global dairy equipment manufacturer, has Brilliance for Weblaunched Brilliance, a new CIP acid detergent that destroys fats, proteins and minerals in a milking system in just one wash cycle.
Brilliance is specially formulated to destroy fats, proteins and minerals that build up in milk lines, claws and equipment and leaves behind a clean, brilliant surface. Brilliance’s new cleaning technology replaces the old acid and detergent cleaning routine with one powerful wash cycle.
"With Brilliance, dairy operators are able to maximize revenue and minimize expenses by improving throughput and cutting wash time," says Carrie Ward, chemical brand manager. "Brilliance broadens the BouMatic chemical portfolio, providing a profitable product and solution for BouMatic dairies and dealers."
Increased throughput and efficiency is easily achieved, with Brilliance removing all soil types in just one wash to increase profitability. Any size dairy operation will benefit from Brilliance.
With one wash cleaning, a 2x12 parlor, for example, is estimated to save $3,723.00 annually from reduced waste hauling expenses. One additional hour of milk time per day from reduced wash time is estimated to add $177,061.50 revenue per year. Exact savings will vary.
Brilliance is gentle on equipment and the environment with a low-foam, zero-phosphate formula that inhibits bacterial growth between milkings. A low-temperature indicator is formulated into Brilliance, immediately signaling if there is an issue with wash temperature, allowing early detection before buildup occurs.
"Each dairy operator using Brilliance has provided extremely positive feedback," says Ward. "We’re seeing a more stable product and proven cleaning performance, removing residues competitors leave behind, in a clean rinsing formula. BouMatic dealers and dairies definitely have a product to be excited about."
