Brazil Approves GMO Corn Varieties After Destructive Drought

Brazil has approved three genetically modified corn varieties from the U.S. for animal feed production.

This comes on the heels of a drought wiping out a portion of Brazil’s crop, forcing animal growers to import corn from Argentina.

The varieties are produced by Monsanto and Syngenta.
