Regarding the purchase of Precision Planting by John Deere, Case IH has publicly made comments regarding their relationship moving forward. Case IH says this change of control will not affect its previous agreements established with Precision Planting.
“The agreement between CNH Industrial and Precision Planting that licenses the use and supply of certain components at a competitive cost are not impacted by the change of control,” says Dan Danford, manager, public relations and sponsorships at Case IH.
Danford also stated the agreement provides select CNH Industrial dealers the opportunity to carry Precision Planting components as part of their aftermarket parts offerings. This, too, will be preserved under any change of control.
