Celebrate Bats: They Are Worth Billions to Ag

October is bat appreciation month. And those in agriculture have about a billion reason to be grateful to bats. A study published in September 2015, totaled that bats save corn farmers $1 billion every year.

Worldwide there are more than 1,300 species of bats, of which 78 are endangered. In the U.S. 32% of the bat population lives in Wyoming.
