Celebrating National Dairy Month in America’s Dairyland

In 1937, June was established as National Milk Month as a way to distribute extra milk during summer. Two years later, the name changed to National Dairy Month.

In America’s Dairyland, June is a month to celebrate all dairy-related products: cheese, milk, and ice cream.

The Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin show there are plenty of ways to see the economic impact dairy has on the state on AgDay above.
