China's Top Pig Farm Agrees to Lower Protein in Animal Feed

China's top pig farming company announced it will make changes to lower protein in animal feed. A company executive with Wens Foodstuffs Group told Reuters about the changes, but the executive says the impact on its operations would be minimal. We told you last month China was making major changes due to its ongoing trade battle with the U.S.

China's Feed Industry Association approved new standards lowering the protein levels in pig feed by 1.5% and for chickens by 1%.
