Claas’s New Moisture Management Tool

December 3, 2008 10:38 AM

Claas's new Moisture Meter is an onboard management tool that provides instant data and indicates a crop at its peak for harvesting.

The Moisture Meter is designed for the Jaguar 900 Series of forage harvesters and works in conjunction with the Claas yield monitor. The yield monitor uses the dry content matter to activate moisture measurement and adjust yield measurements. The collected data is directly displayed on the in-cab CEBIS monitoring system, eliminating the need for another monitor.

Ideal for alfalfa and grass silage growers, real-time data displays tons/hr., acres/hr., tons/acre and total tons.
