Effective November 25, 2019, RCI has acquired Ag-Bag.
Products will now be marketed with the brand name Ag-Bag by RCI, and the company’s operations will move to RCI’s headquarters in Mayville, Wisc.
Ag-Bag was started in 1978 by a group of five investors. Initially, the business sold Silo Press machinery being manufactured in Germany, and in 1989 Ag-Bag purchased the Silo Press business and patents.
Fifteen years later, in 2004 Ag-Bag was acquired by Miller St. Nazianz, which was then acquired by CNH Industrial America in 2014.
“We are excited about continuing the tradition of quality, durability and best-in-class performance of the Ag-Bag product line at RCI. We are committed to supporting the dealer network, growing the product line to serve future forage needs, and providing premier product support for all Ag-Bag products,” Randy Clark, Founder of RCI said in a news release.
RCI was started in 2005, and its business focuses on hay and forage equipment.
RCI and Ag-Bag have a history of collaboration as RCI has been a performance engineering contractor and prototype manufacturer since 2011.
