Few if any grain bins on the farm are ever christened. Not so with Derek Klingenberg’s latest bin. The Peabody, Kan., grain and livestock producer brought the Bethel College choir into the brand new bin.

Few if any grain bins on the farm are ever christened. Not so with Derek Klingenberg’s latest bin. The Peabody, Kan., grain and livestock producer brought the Bethel College choir into the brand new bin recently to sing an old American hymn, Down To the River to Pray. Along with the choir’s sweet voices you also get to hear Derek accompany them with his trombone.

The video, which just posted on YouTube, is the latest of roughly 30 videos that Klingenberg has produced to date. One of his most famous is a parody of “The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?),” a Norwegian music video. Klingenberg’s version of the video “What Does the Farmer Say?” has garnered more than 7 million views to date from around the world.

Klingenberg is the oldest of three boys and the third generation to work the ground of their Marion County, Kan., operation, along with brother, Grant. A third brother, Brett, is a pastor.

You can check out Derek’s other videos on his YouTube channel “Farmer Derek.” He’s also on Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat.
