Kevin Van Trump of Farm Direction said a wild market today. At close corn up 25, wheat up 30 and beans up 11. USDA numbers were adjusted. Weather forecast changed odering more heat and dryness. Large USDA sales were announced. Outside market from Europe allowed outside money to get involved. A stronger market is on the way.
What will be this year's actual harvested acreage, and how will weather affect yields on those acres?
Tom Grisafi of Indiana Grain Company said Corn, beans, and wheat down hard overnite but are trading up at half or more the limit. Outside markets are currently in support.
With the increase in corn stocks from this morning's report, a weather event is needed to shock the bull market alive again.
Mike Howlett Top Third Ag Marketing says overnite trade was lower. The report was basically bullish with revising of carryouts lower than market had anticipated. China's usage was not computed at real values. Today's market prices to be higher across the board.
