Conklin Improves Fastrack Microbial Pack

August 15, 2012 08:44 AM

Kansas City, MO — The Microbial Pack, Fastrack’s signature product, has been improved with theConklin Fastrack for web addition of Diamond V® Original XPC™. The announcement was made by Conklin Company, Inc.
When livestock producers feed the Fastrack Microbial Pack, more nutrients from within the ration become available to livestock for absorption and use. This results in:
  • Improved feed efficiency (conversion) that increases profitability
  • Increased rate of daily gain from greater production efficiency
  • Enhanced immune response, increased survivability and improved physical appearance
The Fastrack Microbial Pack contains all the daily additives required for optimal microbial function in the gastrointestinal tracts of livestock. Fastrack includes Original XPC along with the stable lactic-acid producing bacteria Enterococcus faecium and Lactobacillus acidophilus, prebiotics and enzymes.
Fastrack Microbial Pack will increase ruminal production of volatile fatty acids (VFAs) and microbial protein. It both delivers additional beneficial bacteria to the GI tract and increases the capacity and activity of the existing microbial population. In addition, the pH of the GI tract is stabilized, which improves the digestion and absorption of nutrients from forages, grains, grain byproducts and starch. Bottom line, with Fastrack Microbial Pack livestock producers can be confident that their livestock are receiving the maximum nutrient levels possible from their rations.
The Conklin Fastrack product line includes Microbial Pack as well as several species-specific gels, powders and boluses. Each product contains a form of yeast, the stable lactic-acid producing bacteria, enzymes, prebiotics and, in some products, specialized proteins, for optimal gut and animal health. Marketed since 1985, Fastrack products have a long history of superior performance with dairy and beef, swine, poultry, small ruminant, equine and companion animals.
