Corn Drops on Bird Flu Concerns

Corn futures faced increased price pressure this week amid concerns the spread of bird flu will lower feed demand. We believe the fears are overblown, but the market could face more psychological pressure in the days ahead as bird flu cases mount. Soybean futures were able to ward off bird flu concerns until week's end and wheat futures ended the week lower on a lack of crop concerns and sluggish export demand.
