Corn, Wheat and Beans All Finish Higher

October 29, 2010 12:08 PM

This week’s rallies were led by wheat, up 46.5¢ in the December contract and 49¢ in March on concerns about dryness in both hard red and soft red winter areas. Soybeans were up 26.5¢ in November and 24.5¢ in January.

Corn brought up the rear with a not-too-shabby 22¢ in both December and March, considering that China rejected a shipment of U.S. corn on the basis of non-approved GM varieties and a generally soft export week.
