Could Millennial Trends Alter Restaurant Menus?

Millennials are gaining more influence with retailers and companies when it comes to food preferences in their purchases.

Many of these companies are studying up and catering their menus to consumer demand. Could trends hurt livestock production and decrease consumption?

U.S. Farm Report and AgDay national reporter Betsy Jibben talks with two representatives with well-known companies, Brittni Furrow, director of sustainability with Walmart and Rickette Collins, global supply chain senior director for beef, pork and fish with McDonald’s about consumer demand.

She also talks with cattle experts Greg Henderson, editorial director for Drovers and John Nalivka, president and owner of Sterling Marketing, Inc.
