CPC 30-Day Forecast: Above-Normal Temps for Central U.S

 The National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center (CPC) has issued its extended weather forecasts. The outlook for October calls for above-normal temps across the central third of the United States. Below-normal precip is expected to extend from the the Southern Plains to the central and eastern Corn Belt.

In its 90-day outlook, CPC looks for warmer conditions for the lower half of the U.S., extending into the central, northern and eastern Corn Belt. Below-normal precip is expected for much of the southern U.S.
