CRP Hay Available to South Dakota Cattle Producers Hit by Blizzard

winter prairie scene frosted hay bales lThe South Dakota Department of Agriculture announces relief hay is available for producers in counties impacted by the blizzard last month that wreaked havoc on cattle operations. 580 bales from CRP acres have been donated and the Department of Agriculture urges producers in affected counties to apply for the assistance.

"We appreciate the South Dakota FSA office working with us to send these bales to producers in need," said SD Secretary of Agriculture Lucas Lentsch.
