Deere and United Auto Workers Ratify Agreement

Deere and Company and members of the United Auto Workers union have ratified a new six-year contract. This agreement covering about 9,500 workers—about 17% of the company's work force and 17,000 retirees.
Deere had been notified by the union of the ratification of the agreement, which took effect in early October and expires Oct. 1, 2015. Terms of the contract were not immediately available.
