Deutz Ag will merge its three current sales regions with its service and back-office sales-management functions to form one unit with global responsibility. The new unit will be headed by Robert Mann, who will be based in Cologne.
Mann is a mechanical engineer and has worked for Deutz in the U.S. for 16 years. For the past nine years, he has been head of the U.S. subsidiary, Deutz Corporation, in Atlanta. There he was responsible for sales in the North, Central and South America region.
Mann's successor as president of the Deutz Corporation will be Christian Krupp, currently the chief financial officer.
