[UPDATE] Donald Trump Blames Ben Carson Support on Monsanto

Precious little has been said about agriculture in either the Republican or Democratic primaries. But Donald Trump changes all of that with a cheap shot on Twitter.

Well, then.

Trump was responding to a Quinnipiac University poll that has Carson leading the Republican field at 28%, with Trump slumping to second place with 20%. Trump led a similar September Iowa poll 27% to 21%.

Monsanto has yet to respond to allegations that its presence in Iowa corn affects voting habits. Nor is there any confirmation that agriculture will be discussed in earnest at the next planned Republican or Democrat debates.

UPDATE: Trump apologizes by way of 'young intern.'

I would be ashamed to say that Trump would be my president. He represents the same class of people that said there is no good indian but a dead indian when the west was settled. Or those that wanted the Japanese in camps during WWII. Feeding on fear and prejudice.
