If you’re asking yourself what you can do differently to improve your profitability outlook in 2018—take a harder look at how precision farming practices can help. For the past year, our staff has been doing just that in preparation for the premier of the Farm Journal AgTech Expo, slated for Dec. 11–13 in Indianapolis, Ind.

The diverse, practical program is designed to meet you wherever you are on the technology adoption curve. To accomplish that, we’re offering a two-track schedule for the event—just getting started and beyond the basics. Our single-minded goal is for you to gain practical precision farming information and insights that you can take home and immediately put to work as you finish out this year and plan for the next.

Cost for the AgTech Expo is only $99. You can glean some of the event highlights on page 36, and find more specifics at FarmJournalAgTechExpo.com.

In preparation for the AgTech Expo, our staff produced this issue of Farm Journal to give you a preview of some of the event topics our industry-leading presenters will cover. Inside these pages, you’ll find we’ve addressed a variety of precision ag tools and management practices we hope will whet your appetite to learn more.

As you read through this magazine and consider participating at AgTech Expo, please send me a note any time if you have questions. I’d love to hear from you, and I hope you’ll join us in Indy.
