Editor's Notebook: Seeds of Hope

July 27, 2012 08:13 PM

RhondaBrooksWow, what a summer! Here at Farm Journal, we have been busy putting together our third annual seed issue, which you now hold in your hands. While we’re proud to bring this edition of the magazine to you, we realize that the main topic on your mind these days is not necessarily seed-related but most likely the weather. That’s understandable. For many of our readers, this is the toughest summer they have faced on the farm since 1988.

While our staff can’t change the weather, we’ve packed these pages with information that provides practical agronomic and industry news you can put to good use on your farm. There’s even an article that should make you chuckle. Most of all, we trust you have hope to hang onto as we all tough out this wild weather. Here’s wishing for all the best for you and your farm in the weeks ahead.
