The FDA recently approved new EXCENEL® RTU EZ (ceftiofur hydrochloride) Sterile Suspension for the treatment and control of metritis, bovine respiratory disease (BRD) and foot rot. With its improved formulation for user convenience, EXCENEL RTU EZ makes injections easier to administer and kills major pathogens associated with BRD with a zero milk discard advantage. Studies show that EXCENEL RTU EZ is significantly more syringeable when compared to EXCENEL RTU.1

EXCENEL RTU EZ establishes therapeutic concentrations in as little as one hour to effectively treat a broad spectrum of pathogens that cause metritis, bovine respiratory disease (BRD), shipping fever, pneumonia and foot rot. The product requires no refrigeration or reconstitution and can be administered daily or every other day. Be sure to work with a veterinarian on how to include EXCENEL RTU EZ as part of a comprehensive fresh cow program.

For best syringeability, EXCENEL RTU EZ can be administered with a pistol grip or similar syringe that has been sterilized and cleaned according to normal care procedures. The product can be used for subcutaneous administrations. For full prescribing information, visit EXCENELRTUEZ.com
