Farm Fire Kills Cow in Rural Dubuque County

A farm fire in eastern Iowa has killed a cow and caused $15,000 worth of damage.

Officials with the Dubuque County Sheriff's Department say fire crews and law enforcement responded to a structure fire around 4:20 a.m. Friday near Bankston in rural Dubuque County.

A cow was killed and 10 large bales of straw were destroyed.

Officials say the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
