Farm Bill Conference Inches Nearer Reality

A floor vote scheduled for today in the ongoing push for a farm bill would help pull agriculture and nutrition titles together so the House and Senate can review them, Politico reports.

According to Politico: "The goal is to restore a more comprehensive package including commodity, conservation, crop insurance and nutrition titles as one. This will then be sent to the Senate as a single amendment and sets the stage for the leadership to appoint conferees."
