The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) released their monthly sales report for February 2009.

Overall, the sales of tractors have dropped when comparing February 2009 to February 2008 -- the total sales for wheel tractors declined 24.9%. The greatest decline occurred in the two-wheel drive tractors of 40 horsepower and less than 100 horsepower with a 31.6% decrease. The total sales of two-wheel drive tractors declined 25.9%. However, the sale of four-wheel drive tractors increased 19.3%. Self-propelled combine sales increased 40.7%.
