Feedlot and Field Maintenance

The new PS Series of apron box manure spreaders from Kuhn has two models. Material can be spread evenly with the hydraulically-controlled variable speed apron drive. Horizontal or vertical beaters can be easily removed and installed. A center driveline located under the unit requires less maintenance by removing excess chains and sprockets.
Another item to use in beef and dairy operations is the VSL Series of single-auger vertical mixers. The two models can handle large bales with two-position hay-cutting knives. The conveyor can shift left or right and unload at an incline. The mixers have an optional 2-speed gearbox for easier starting and mixing.
The RSM 180 roadside mower from Kuhn adjusts to uneven ground and can mow at a higher level than the tractor. The mower mechanically locks and has road signals for on-road transport. Automatic belt tensioning adjusts to driving conditions and a mechanical safety device protects the frame of the mower.
The twin rotor GA Gyrorakes Series doubles the productivity of a single-rotor rake. A self contained hydraulic rotor drive moves large quantities of hay at higher working speeds. Windrows have are structured evenly and there is little leaf loss due to the hay being touched once.
