Floating Tractor Takes Farm Progress Show 'By Storm'

August 28, 2018 05:40 PM
The 2018 Farm Progress Show started off strong but ended up closing down today because of heavy rains.

The Farm Progress Show started off bright and sunny on Monday in Boone, Iowa, but the skies turned stormy a little before noon and the show ended up being cancelled for the day.

Some good news, though. If you're thinking about attending the event today, you should be in luck. Weather Channel meteorologists are predicting partly sunny skies and a high of only 72 F for Wednesday. Sounds like a good day to go check out the many exhibits, demonstrations, great food and live entertainment.

In the meantime, here are some "water highlights" from the show. Check out this video from Machinery Pete of the "floating" tractor outfitted with Mitas tires.
