Four-year-old Cow Triumphs in the 2014 International Jersey Show

Illinois bovine was awarded Grand and Senior Champion honors.

MADISON, Wis. – TJ Classic Minister Venus-ET, owned by Nic, Jeni, Ben and Andy Sauder of Tremon, Ill., was awarded Grand and Senior Champion honors at the 2014 International Jersey Show at World Dairy Expo on Wednesday, Oct 1.

Minister was the winning Four-Year-Old Cow and earned the $1,000 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Cash Award. Marynole Excite Rosey, owned and exhibited by Ernest Kueffner and Terri Packard, of Boonsboro, Md., took home the Reserve Grand and Reserve Senior Champion title.

Arethusa Farm LLC out of Litchfield, Conn. took home the honor of Premier Breeder of the show. Premier Exhibitor of the show was awarded, for a second year, to River Valley Dairy of Tremont, Ill. Tower Vue Prime Tequila-ET was named Premier Sire for the third year in a row.

Judge Nathan Thomas of North Lewisburg, Ohio and Associate Judge Jeff Brown of Jackson Center, Ohio placed 377 entries at the 2014 International Jersey Show.
