Conditions Mixed in Farm Country

Crops are looking pretty good in Buena Vista County, Iowa. A farmer there reported, “Lots of good looking corn and most beans. Have had timely rains and excellent growing conditions.” Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Coles County, Ill.: “Still waiting for a rain. Yards are brown and crunchy again and corn ears on high ground are drying up.”

Head over to your Instagram account and search for @AgWebEditor to meet the AgWeb team, see what Farm Journal Media editors are up to, enjoy throwback moments and see great rural photos of farm scenes and more.
