Conditions Mixed in Farm Country
Crops are looking pretty good in Buena Vista County, Iowa. A farmer there reported, “Lots of good looking corn and most beans. Have had timely rains and excellent growing conditions.” Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Coles County, Ill.: “Still waiting for a rain. Yards are brown and crunchy again and corn ears on high ground are drying up.”
See other reports on AgWeb’s Crop Comments page and share your own at www.AgWeb.com/AgWeb-Crop-Comments.
