Gasoline and Diesel Weekly -- Diesel Fuels Fall, Gasoline Climbs

Farm Diesel --

Farm diesel moved just a nickel lower during the report week to $3.422/gallon according to Inputs Monitor data.

Nebraska's $3.35/gallon marks the regional low while Indiana posted the strongest decline, moving 21 cents lower to $3.49/gallon.

The only increase we saw during the report week was a 2 cent increase in Missouri where the price of farm diesel is at $3.43. South Dakota and Kansas unchanged -- both below the regional average.

Gasoline-

The average national retail price for regular gasoline rose $0.018 to a national average of $3.538 -- 25 cents below year-ago.

East Coast gasoline down $0.006 to $3.452; Midwest adding $0.054 to $3.608; Gulf Coast $0.004 higher to $3.299; Rocky Mountain adds $0.007 to $3.491, and the West Coast moves $0.011 higher to $3.811.

Highway Diesel --

The national average price for highway diesel moved $0.006 lower nationwide, ending the report week at $3.845 -- $0.212 below year-ago.

East Coast $0.023 lower to $3.863; Midwest highway diesel registered the only upward movement in highway diesel adding $0.029 to $3.868; Gulf Coast $0.022 lower to $3.735; Rocky Mountain regional diesel falls $0.006 to $3.804, and West Coast highway diesel moved $0.026 lower to $3.923.
