Gasoline and Diesel Weekly: Mild Increases Across-the-Board

Farm diesel moved just $0.005 higher during the report week to $3.427/gallon according to Inputs Monitor data.

Kansas and Nebraska continue to battle for the lowest farm diesel price in the Midwest with Nebraska at $3.29, edged out by a penny by Kansas where farm diesel is $3.28/gallon.

All movement -- both to the upside and downside -- was within a nickel with the exception of a 6 cent move upward in Indiana to $3.55.

Gasoline-

The average retail price for regular gasoline rose nationawide in a clean sweep that added $0.065 to the national average gasoline price, now at $3.603 -- still $0.151 below year-ago.

East Coast gasoline up $0.032 to $3.484; Midwest adding $0.070 to $3.678; Gulf Coast $0.065 higher to $3.364; Rocky Mountain adds $0.069 to $3.560, and the West Coast moves $0.127 higher to $3.938.

Highway Diesel --

The national average price for highway diesel moved $0.021 higher nationwide, ending the report week at $3.866 -- $0.138 below year-ago.

East Coast $0.002 higher to $3.865; Midwest highway diesel adds $0.041 to $3.909; Gulf Coast $0.004 higher to $3.739; Rocky Mountain regional diesel firms $0.018 to $3.822, and West Coast highway diesel moved $0.046 higher to $3.969.
