Girls Road Trip to Corn College

15:54PM Jul 19, 2011

Kate, Amy, Carrie and Ashley from Central Valley Coop in southern Minnesota took a girls’ road trip to attend the consultant/retailer Corn College session.

On the way down, the girls commented on how far ahead the crops are as they headed south. They also discussed fields they could visible recognize as having fungicide applied on them, and they encountered the fields that were effected by the severe winds that went through northern Iowa.

The four took the trip to attend a new training event they hadn’t attended before. The biggest lessons learned that they can apply back home were relevant to uniform tillage passes and micronutrients.
