Grain Futures Lower on the CBOT

Grains futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was .50 cents lower at 6.85 a bushel; December corn was 4.50 cents lower at $4.3375 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.2025 a bushel; while November soybeans were 16.75 cents higher at 12.7125 a bushel.

Beef prices higher and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .48 cent higher at $1.3265 a pound; November feeder cattle was 1.48 cent higher at $1.6940 a pound; December lean hogs were .10 cent higher at $.8675 a pound.
