Grain Storage Sensor Wins Silver at Agritechinca

November 15, 2011 11:02 AM

The value of being able to monitor grain quality through storage has earned greater awareness and companies have developed a portfolio of solutions. Now added to the category is Bintec’s Moisture Cable, which was awarded a Silver Medal at Agritechnica 2011.

The moisture cable allows for automatic drier control using its data—temperature, grain moisture and humidity—to improve efficiency. The Bintec product records the data continuously throughout the levels of grain to document the drying process. This product can be retrofitted in existing driers.
