Gulke: Jan. 12 USDA Report Offers a Few Surprises

The Jan. 12 USDA report surprised the market with a significant drop in soybean exports—more than anticipated with a 65 million bushel reduction, says Jerry Gulke, president of the Gulke Group. Wheat acres were also increased, which was not at all what was expected.

“It will be interesting to see how we close the week,” he says.
