Planter Clinic

This hands-on Planter Clinic lead by Farm Journal Associate Field Agronomist Missy Bauer will change how you put your crop in the ground. Learn how to set your planter for best performance, evaluate the soundness of your planter, set goals for planting execution and identify a good stand.

Corn College in the South

Corn College is heading south to help farmers understand and implement the Systems Approach to higher corn yields. Farm Journal Associate Field Agronomist Missy Bauer will share in-field data to help farmers better manage corn growth and development, nitrogen and planter performance.

Test Plots Research Results

Farm Journal Field Agronomist Ken Ferrie and crew will unveil results from the Farm Journal Test Plots program. Attendees will have access to data from more than 100 trials on starter fertilizer, planter technology, row spacing and irrigation. Following the event, a VIP dinner, limited to 10 people, will be held with Ferrie.

Nutrient Management College

With low commodity prices, it’s time to mind fertility programs. Under Farm Journal Field Agronomist Ken Ferrie’s direction, attendees will learn how to identify what costs can be cut without compromising yield. They’ll learn how to maximize nitrogen, implement starter and how each fertilizer placement options performs. 

Wheat College

High-yield wheat expert Phil Needham will lead this one-day event solely focused on tips you can take straight to the field to enhance wheat yields. Learn how to get ahead of diseases and insects and manage wheat with cutting-edge technologies; a full-circle fertilizer and nitrogen program; and growth regulators. 

Wheat and Soybean College

Led by Farm Journal Associate Field Agronomist Missy Bauer and high-yield wheat expert Ronan Cummins, this training will be particularly valuable for farmers who rotate wheat and soybeans. Learn how to manage emergence; nitrogen and fertilizers; diseases and insects; growth regulators; and technology.
