The harvest of late-season crops has wrapped up in North Dakota, in time for the first big snowstorm of the season.
The Agriculture Department in its final weekly crop report for the 2016 growing season says the corn and soybean harvests ended on pace with the five-year average.
The report says three-fourths of North Dakota's winter wheat crop is in good to excellent condition. Only 4 percent is rated poor or very poor.
Pasture and range conditions statewide are rated 48 percent good to excellent. Stock water supplies are 74 percent adequate to surplus.
