How AEM Targets Trump and Clinton Supporters Differently

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers is lobbying for various infrastructure issues as the election approaches. That’s not unusual. But what’s a little bit different is how AEM is targeting its message.

“The thing you might find interesting is that one mimics the language Donald Trump has used on the campaign trail regarding infrastructure, while another mirrors Hillary Clinton’s language on the same issue,” according to Michael O’Brien, AEM’s public affairs manager. “We just think it’s a little interesting and unique way to approach our messaging to external audiences on the issue.”

So without further ado, here is the video designed with Donald Trump in mind:

And here’s the “Clinton customized” one:

O’Brien says these two videos, along with five others that comprise AEM’s “My Manufacturing Vote” video series, will be promoted to swing state voters between now and Election Day.
