2017 has been a difficult year to analyze the markets, according to Jim Bower, president of Bower Trading.
“The market almost has analysis paralysis because there’s so many different types of informational focal points that come into the market,” Bower told AgDay host Clinton Griffiths. “The market’s made analysis tougher than it normally is.”
For Bower, the next two to four weeks will be “critical” for farmers in the U.S. because of planting delays or some farmers having to replant their replanted crops.
“There’s been hundreds of thousands of [replanted] acres,” he said. “From a row crop standpoint, the next two to three weeks led by corn will be very critical.”
