Nebraska State Senators passed a law allowing hog operations to now own swine for longer than five days prior to slaughter. Basically farrow to finished animals and ultimately the packing plants. This due to surrounding states having similar laws. Nebraska is facing a changing and challenging agricultural lifestyle with BIG BUSINESSES CONTROL OF AGRICULTURE. NEBRASKA YEARS AGO PASTED LAW ALLOWING CORPORATE FARMING YET FEW CORPORATIONS OWN NEBRASKA FARMS/RANCHES.
