If You're Holding Out For $4.50 Corn, Lower the Bar

For those pricing corn in 2017, positive thoughts are important, but they don’t always materialize.

A lot of producers have been holding out for $4.50 per bushel corn, according to Dustin Johnson of AgYield. He told AgDay host Clinton Griffiths “we’re making a series of lower highs and lower lows for a reason.” He says that reason is to build stocks.

“If we lower the bar a little bit, we could actually improve revenues under certain circumstances,” said Johnson.
