The 'Land of Lincoln' is going green. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signing a bill that legalizes marijuana in his state.
Illinois is now the eleventh state to legalize recreational marijuana. The law will permit state-licensed businesses to grow and sell pot. It also allows people 21 and above to consume and possess it.
Marijuana is expected to bring the state about $500 million per year in tax revenue. Critics say legalization will result in more deaths and driving-while-high vehicular accidents.
